GOD’S WILL ON PROSPERITY

3^rd John 2 says, “I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”

My friend, God wants the very best for YOU --- and every other human being! God wants THE SAME for us PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY that He wants for us SPIRITUALLY!

However, we live in a real world and here is where we are on our journey:

Statistics tell us that between our “first” and “last” paycheck, each of us will EARN A PERSONAL FORTUNE. These same statistics also tell us that the VAST MAJORITY of Americans, AT RETIREMENT, will have to depend on SOMEONE ELSE in order to live out the remainder of their lives!

You see, just because we may earn a fortune, does not necessarily mean we will retire financially independent!

This is why I have written perhaps the most needed book of our time, other than the Bible itself! I realize this is quite a statement but money is so important in our lives. You MUST have money to survive, and God wants you to DO MORE than just survive! He wants YOU to have life --- AND LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY!

Not only does He want you to have the abundant life of salvation, He wants you to have the abundant life of health and the abundant life of prosperity! God wants you to have so much that WHEN YOU DIE, you can properly fund the NEXT TWO (2) GENERATIONS OF YOUR FAMILY!

Proverbs 13:22 says, “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children (enough for the next two generations): and the wealth of the wicked (the unsaved) is laid up (placed in storage) for the just.”

Now folks, this IS how serious God is concerning your finances! All the money that is being hoarded by the wicked of the world is, in reality, being saved for the righteous to use --- IN THIS LIFETIME!

THE KEY: SOUND FINANCIAL PLANNING, GOD’S WAY!

In today’s economy, SOUND FINANCIAL PLANNING is more important than ever.  The American Bankers Association gives the following figures as an example of where WE AMERICANS will end up at retirement age! They have taken the life experience of every 100 people, from age 25 until retirement, or age 65, and here are their findings:

CURRENT AGE, 25, TO RETIREMENT, AGE 65

• 36 will be dead
• 5 will be financially independent
• 5 must work past retirement
• 54 will be dependent on others
•  

 To be sure we are on the same page with our thinking, let’s stop and analyze what these statistics are saying to us:

(1.) Thirty six percent of the people age twenty-five (25) right now, will not live to age sixty five (65)! And yet, at age twenty-five, we think we will live forever! We think we are invincible, and yet, death is but a breath away!

(2.) Five percent, at age sixty-five (65) will be financially independent. They can do what they want, do as they please, at least financially!

(3.) Five percent will still be working after age sixty-five. They simply cannot retire, even though they might like too! They do not know how much longer they will be able to work, but for now, they have no choice.

(4.) Fifty four percent (54) will be alive but will lack adequate income at retirement age and will be dependent on Government, Friends, Relatives and Charities.

In other words, NINETY FIVE (95) PERCENT will either be dead or dependent ON SOMEONE ELSE in order to survive! These statistics are very cold BUT THEY ARE ALSO VERY REAL! My friend, YOU AND I are among these statistics!

These are people, like yourself, who worked all their lives, for as long as they could! They had Retirement Plans from work. They bought Stocks and Bonds. They invested in Insurance. They purchased Real Estate. They did ALL THOSE THINGS that the world says to do, and yet, at retirement, this was not enough!
